Portal workflows

Follow these steps after you sign up and connect accounts.

Connect your channels

Link the accounts you manage so Overview and Posts use live metrics.

  1. Sign up and complete AI Setup so Periscope knows your goals and pillars.
  2. Open Settings → Organisation → Connections in the portal.
  3. Connect Instagram, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, or Pinterest on Basic. Add X or TikTok on Pro.
  4. Run Sync on Overview after connecting so dashboards populate.
  5. Disconnect any platform from Connections if you need to revoke access.

Run your first Benchmark Scorecard

Score reach, engagement, consistency, and competitive position against rivals.

  1. Finish AI Setup so benchmark pillars match what you care about.
  2. On Pro, add competitors from the Competitors page or use AI discovery.
  3. Open Benchmark Scorecard from the portal nav to see pillar scores.
  4. Hover pillars for detail and share progress in leadership updates.
  5. Revisit monthly to see movement versus tracked accounts.

Ask AI about your data

Get answers from your posts and metrics instead of generic social advice.

  1. Connect at least one platform and sync data.
  2. Open Ask AI from the portal sidebar.
  3. Try a suggested question or ask about top posts, trends, or recaps.
  4. Follow up in the same thread for narrower detail.
  5. On Pro, generate deeper Periscope AI+ insights from Insights.

Prepare a weekly recap

Turn channel performance into a short update for leadership or clients.

  1. Set the date range on Overview to the last 7 days.
  2. Note stat card movement and the engagement trend chart.
  3. Generate an AI insight on Insights or ask Ask AI for a recap draft.
  4. Copy bullet lines into email or slides.
  5. On Pro, enable weekly email recaps under notification settings.
