Security and data handling
How we access connected accounts, store analytics, and handle deletion requests.
Who operates Periscope
Periscope is operated by Periscope Social (ABN 92 241 934 532).
Security or privacy questions: send a privacy request.
Platform connections
Periscope uses OAuth with read-only access to analytics and posts for accounts you authorise. We never receive social network passwords and we do not post on your behalf.
Revoke access anytime from Settings → Organisation → Connections.
Storage and isolation
Workspace data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Each organisation is isolated: members of one workspace cannot read another.
Team access
Only people you invite can open your organisation in the portal. Roles control billing and member management. Connections are shared so everyone on the team sees the same metrics.
Subprocessors
Service providers that help us run Periscope:
- Clerk: authentication and organisations
- Paddle: subscription billing
- Cloudflare: hosting and database
- Connected platform APIs (Meta, LinkedIn, Google, Pinterest, X, TikTok)
- Email delivery for transactional messages
- AI providers for Ask AI and onboarding, scoped to your workspace
Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Retention and deletion
Cached analytics refresh when you sync. When you delete a workspace or submit a deletion request, we remove personal data within a reasonable period, except where law or billing requires limited retention.
Steps are on the data deletion page.
Your responsibilities
Protect your login and organisation invites. Only connect accounts you are authorised to manage. Review team members in organisation settings regularly.
